The Pickle Lab is on Battaramulla-Pannipitiya Road, set back from the main road and surrounded by greenery. It took over the courts that previously ran as The Pickle Island's Battaramulla branch.

The courts and facilities

Three covered indoor courts, so the midday heat and the monsoon stay out of the game. Paddles and balls are provided, and there's a large parking area on site.

Relaxed and green, away from the city traffic. The staff are happy to walk first-timers through the basics, so it works for complete beginners as much as for regular players. Weekday evenings and weekends are the busiest stretches, so call ahead if you want one of those slots.
