About Pipinya Pickleball Negombo.
Location
Pipinya Pickleball sits on Poruthota Road in Negombo, up in the beach stretch north of town and about ten minutes from the airport. Handy if you are flying in or out, and a proper local option for Negombo players who used to drive all the way to Colombo for a game.
The courts and facilities
Two outdoor courts, with proper nets and painted lines, lit for evening play. Pipinya was one of the early movers in Sri Lankan pickleball, so it is set up right. Paddles and balls are there if you need them, there is parking, washrooms, and something cold to drink when you come off court.
Atmosphere
It opens in the late afternoon and runs till ten, which fits the Negombo rhythm: play once the heat drops, then dinner near the beach. The crowd is friendly, a mix of locals and travellers passing through, and with a straight 5.0 across its reviews, people clearly leave happy.
